More detail in my picking style

I've been playing since 1968 and I've been through a boatload of picks. For the last 5 years I've been playing Pickboy Vintage T-Shell Classic 1.20mm. They're awesome, very bright, but awesome nonetheless. Being one who is always looking for a new way to improve my tone or playing technique I've been trying various picks (a lot) over the last few years. I heard about Gravity picks on TGP so I thought I'd give them a try.

I purchased a couple for acoustic and then two classics for electric. A 2.0 and this 1.5.
The 2.0 is really nice, playability is perfect, but it was a bit darker than I'm used to. The 1.5 on the other hand is really nice. The bevel is so nice I can find notes that I couldn't with my Pickboy classics. It has increased the accuracy and detail of my playing.

For me it's going to take a bit of adjustment to the thickness, but the potential is there and I'm really digging where this is going.

I would highly recommend giving these a try, if you think the 1.5 is too thick, SW also offers a 1.10 3x pack in this style (just ordered them - too curious!)

Overall a quality product, super happy that I bought it.

Cheers!

awesome

Gravity Classic Pointed Standard 1.5. These are the first picks to give me a WOW moment. They feel different in the hand, yielding a more articulate and brighter tone. Acoustic volume is louder. Rounded edge softens the tone and facilitates "chirps" and other tonal techniques. These picks yield much more than you may expect. Do yourself a favor and try one, they are way cool.

Unusually good

These picks are very unusual. There is something about the material and the beveled edge that makes me play with more articulation and speed. The picks are extremely hard and create a nice bright tone. I can't compare this to any other pick I've used over the last 30 years. It's very unique and unusually good for just being a simple guitar pick.
