Squier’s Value-packed Tele Thinline

The Squier Classic Vibe ’70s Telecaster Thinline will float your boat. This hot-rodded Tele sports a toneful chambered body with an F-hole and a fast maple neck. You get two Fender Designed Wide Range humbuckers that deliver truckloads of tone. Playability is top-flight, with a 9.5"-radius fingerboard and narrow tall frets for comfortable chording and fast leads. Grab Squier’s value-packed Classic Vibe ’70s Telecaster Thinline and make some music history.

Classic styling for unmistakable feel

Not deviating too far from the mold, the Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline is still a Tele at the core. The classic maple neck and fretboard give your notes presence and bite while still feeling comfortable and fast. Reliable vintage-style tuners keep your axe in tune bend after bend. And the traditional-shaped body is familiar and instantly recognizable. The Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline is all Tele.

Rockin’ pickup duo packs plenty of punch

When Fender originally launched the dual-humbucker-equipped Telecaster Thinline model in 1972, they set out to create a rock guitar that would appeal to a new generation of more aggressive guitarists. That’s why they outfitted it with two hot humbuckers. To capture that same spirit, Squier equipped the Classic Vibe ’70s Telecaster Thinline with a pair of rockin’ Fender Designed Wide Range humbuckers. The neck delivers warm jazz tones and beefy overdrive with serious impact, while the bridge pickup delivers the fat, snarling tone you need for searing leads. Top that off with a full set of volume and tone controls for each pickup, and the Squier Classic Vibe ’70s Telecaster Thinline makes dialing in the perfect sound a piece of cake.

The magic of Squier’s Classic Vibe series

Since its introduction, Squier’s Classic Vibe series has been the go-to source for affordable takes on original-era Fender guitars. From the Fender-voiced pickups and reformulated vintage colors to the modern neck profiles, fingerboard radii, and narrow tall frets, Squier has gone back to the drawing board to bring you a vintage-inspired guitar with the smooth playability and tonal versatility today’s guitarists demand. Take it from Sweetwater: From its cool vintage visuals to its great tone and playing feel, there’s pure magic — and tremendous value — in the Squier Classic Vibe ’70s Telecaster Thinline!

Absolutely love it!

I've had a lot of guitars.. Fenders, Epiphones, Ibanez, G&Ls and I can say this is one of the best I've ever had.

What a beauty

I never really liked the telecaster until I saw this one and with humbuckers that sound real good especially the neck pickup. Playability is good, stays in tune, comfortable neck. I noticed the high e string doesn't sound as loud as the other strings because the neck pickup wasn't lining up correctly with the string and the screw on the pickup. It looks like the hole in the body for the pickup isn't straight like the bridge pickup. If you look at it, you'll see what I mean. Otherwise great guitar for the money.

Surprised In a Good Way!

I wanted a 70's thinline but didn't want to shell out the cost for the American reissue. I thought I would invest in a set up so it would play better. However, to my surprise, this guitar needed very little tweaking to please my finicky action needs. Not only that, but the quality of the build and wood is just as pleasing. I did swap out the switch and pots which made a noticeable difference in the tone but no need to change the pickups, they sound great. I play some nice guitars but find myself picking this up for great looks and humbucker tone. Just so surprised in a good way.

Great axe

This is really an awesome guitar. It plays every bit as well as my standard tele. In my opinion the tone is even better. Always wanted the Thinline but its a bit pricey for me at this point. Now, however I will continue to enjoy this well priced Squier- for a couple of years anyway! Sweetwater delivered this to me on time and I could've gigged with it that same night. That bad boy was ready to play. Thanks again Sweetwater

Excellent Guitar at a affordable cost

Great guitar. Plays way above its cost class. It looks great, sounds great and plays great. What else could I want. I would recommend this instrument to any player.
