Premium Roasted Maple Neck for Your Stratocaster

Crafted from top-quality roasted maple, the Fender Roasted Maple Flat Oval Replacement Stratocaster Neck may just be the upgrade your Strat needs. Roasted until it reaches optimal dryness, this maple neck is more resistant to humidity shifts and temperature changes than non-roasted necks. And with its Flat Oval profile, 12" fretboard radius, and jumbo frets, the Fender Roasted Maple Flat Oval Replacement Stratocaster Neck is clearly designed for the fastest, most technical playing you can handle. If you're not sure whether this neck is right for your specific guitar, call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer at (800) 222-4700 and we'll be happy to advise.

Note: Every neck and guitar is different, and a final setup, including filing the nut slots and a final fret leveling, may be required after installation on your guitar. Call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer with any questions you have about upgrading or replacing the neck on your Fender guitar or bass.

Worth it!

I don't have a lot of money, so $ for a guitar neck seemed like an extravagant expense. I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it. But It definitely was. The satin neck, jumbo frets, and glossy headstock finish all look and feel amazing. I was very pleased with the level of fret polishing; bends feel smooth and easy. The fret ends were quality cut, but could use a little rounding on the edges. The truss rod feels smooth and responsive. Definitely a great buy.

AMAZING. RESONANT. FAST. BEAUTIFUL

I was worried about losing some of the "mojo" in my sixty six that I fell in love with and have since tweaked a bit. I've been wanting a 12" radius neck and sweetwater caught me in a weak moment so I pulled the trigger. Despite the baked maple not matching the natural lighter finish body of my Sixty Six I'm glad I did because this thing took everything about my axe and amplified it.

Yes, it will change the tone and feel. The neck is denser, thinner, and has a different radius from the usual strat neck but different isn't bad, its going to take whatever you have and let more of it through.

I can feel noticeably more resonance in my hands and belly. You have to make sure the neck is seated very well in the pocket for it to be its best BTW. Anyhow, it feels like a good jackson neck tbh.

My sixty six is now perfect and I'm a believer in these roasted maple necks.
Music background: lots.

Good neck

Got this neck for a custom Strat I was building, first impressions were that it was very nicely packaged. It came well boxed and very secure. The stock photos really don't do it justice, it is absolutely beautiful! A little work is to be expected on any new neck but I really had to do a lot of work to the frets, I had to bring them down a considerable amount after cutting the nut and stringing, I play with a heavy fretting hand and constantly found myself bending out of key just by finger pressure. The edges of the frets themselves were pretty sharp and restricted my slides. If you're willing to do the work on it or get it worked on I would highly recommend this replacement neck

Great neck for a great price

Neck fit exactly like I was hoping and feels great to play.

Great neck - not for me

This is really a great neck and I cannot fault it in the least. Good fret work and finish. Love the roasted maple
BUT! I'm just not a fan of the flat oval profile. I thought it would be thinner from the top of the fretboard to the back of the neck. I was classically trained and have had to adjust to the thumb over style but I still most play with my thumb on the back of the neck. This neck is too full for me. I'll stick to C shaped necks in the future
